AHEDIS Training – Ljubljana: Multimedia Production, Extended Reality (XR) and Interactive Learning Content

As part of the AHEDIS project, a training programme is planned in Ljubljana, focusing on strengthening educators’ digital competencies through multimedia production, Extended Reality (XR), and interactive learning technologies. The training aims to equip participants with practical skills for developing innovative digital teaching materials and enhancing learning experiences in higher education. Participants will be introduced to multimedia-supported teaching approaches, including video recording, lecture capture, and the use of professional video production equipment. The programme will also explore advanced video production techniques using tools such as OBS Studio and related technologies. Special attention will be given to Extended Reality (XR), its applications in education, and the effective use of immersive technologies in teaching environments. Participants will learn how to capture and organise 360-degree content and develop interactive virtual tours using 3DVista software. The training will also cover video postproduction, including editing, sound enhancement, animation, graphics, and exporting educational videos using Blackmagic Design Resolve. Through practical exercises and hands-on activities, participants will have the opportunity to create multimedia materials, interactive learning environments, and digital educational resources. The programme is designed to encourage the integration of immersive and multimedia technologies into existing teaching practices. The expected outcome is improved institutional capacity to develop high-quality, engaging, and technology-enhanced educational content across AHEDIS partner institutions.
