Presentation of the Project “Advancing Higher Education through Digital Innovation and Smart Technologies (AHEDIS)” 

STEP INTO AHEDIS: Project Showcase and Promotion 

The University of Sarajevo – Faculty of Pharmacy is organizing the presentation of the project Advancing Higher Education through Digital Innovation and Smart Technologies (AHEDIS) entitled “STEP INTO AHEDIS: Project Showcase and Promotion”, which will be held on May 20, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM at the Faculty premises.

The AHEDIS project is based on the principles of education, transformation, and innovation, aiming to enhance higher education through the implementation of digital and smart technologies. The project focuses on strengthening the competencies of academic staff through targeted training and mentorship, improving innovative pedagogical and digital methodologies, and supporting institutional transformation through the development of infrastructure and modern management approaches.

Through the project activities, teaching methods at partner universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro will be improved, as well as the learning process of undergraduate students, healthcare professionals, and participants in lifelong learning programs. Special emphasis is placed on developing innovative educational approaches that contribute to sustainable institutional changes and innovation-driven practices.

During the event, representatives of the AHEDIS project team will present the key segments of the project, its methodological approach, and its importance for the development and improvement of teaching methodologies, ultimately contributing to better healthcare outcomes within and beyond the Western Balkans region.
